Composed of plains, cliffs and forest, the 113kms2 national park is home to large herds of Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Giraffe, Rhino, Cheetah, and Lion - all living right on the city's doorstep. And for those who want a wet and wild adventure, there is even white water rafting available on the beautiful Tana River - an hour's drive out of central Nairobi. A city unlike any other, the fantastic wildlife is complimented by a vibrant music scene, excellent restaurants and an endless and colourful array of shops and markets.
