TUNE IN TO EXCLUSIVE TRACKS FROM BOMA RECORDS

Boma Records
You heard it here first: Francis X. Kamotho and Amos Ng'onde, of Nairobi based BOMA Records (part of the "Tukuze Talanta Initiative," (T-Skweyad) meaning "Let's Nurture Talent,"), have produced original music tracks for Crazy About Kenya supporters.
Known as Fek and Sazzo on the buzzing Nairobi music circuit, the duos hip-hop beats and Swahili lyrics have an ethical vibe - BOMA already taking centre stage at a recent EPA (Economic Partnerships Agreement) concert.
Headliners at WAPI (words and pictures events), held at the British Council in Nairobi, BOMA's musicians have a huge following - the record labels own flagship artiste "Misheni" also crossing continents and sharing the stage with UK rapper "Black Twang" earlier in 2008.
Francis X. Kamotho, Producer and Co-Director at BOMA Records, is hoping that travellers will tune in: "Crazy About Kenya is a positively charged campaign. We've got some great tracks lined up and we hope that supporters of the project will be inspired by our positive beats."
For further information and artist booking enquiries please contact Francis X Kamotho on +254 727 271 451. Check out future events and highlights from WAPI and the British Council on Facebook: WAPI (WORDS AND PICTURES). Event dates subject to change.
Francis X Kamotho is Producer and Co-Director at BOMA Records. BOMA, Swahili for homestead, aims to make a positive impact on society. The musical artists in their stable including, Misheni, Real G, and Sazzo, currently feature at the monthly WAPI (words and pictures events) held at the British Council in Nairobi. BOMA's latest offering is the highly emotive "Inferno Album." In the hope of spreading their music to distant lands they are looking to collaborate with international artists from various genres, as well as homegrown talent.
